At E Sargeant & Son, we are proud to support organisations that make a meaningful and lasting difference within their communities through the E Sargeant & Son Community Fund.
Home-Start Berkshire East has been awarded £2,000 to help recruit and train a new cohort of volunteers who will provide practical and emotional support to families with young children across Slough and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
Demand for their services has grown significantly. In the last year alone, they supported over 414 families and 801 children, with referrals continuing to rise. Many of the families they support are facing multiple challenges including poverty, poor mental health, domestic abuse, social isolation, neurodiversity, developmental delay, and the pressures of raising young children without family networks nearby.
Through the E Sargeant & Son Community Fund, we remain committed to supporting projects that bring people together, strengthen communities and improve lives.
