E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors were proud to be sponsoring the Wave of Light Memorial Service dedicated to remembering babies and children who are gone too soon.
The service was arranged by Reverend Suzanne Johnson from the Parish of Manor Park St John the Baptist and Whitby Road St Michael. Over the years, we have sponsored the service, showing support for all the families suffering the loss of a little one. We also supplied the orders of service for the memorial along with attending the event, being a supportive presence for all those in attendance.
Families were invited to gather by the lake to light candles and float lanterns in honour of the children all gone too soon but remaining in everyone’s hearts forever. This was accompanied with music from the Sing4You Choir, for those in attendance to reflect on and bring comfort to.
After the service, families were invited for hot drinks and company in the presence of those who understood what they were going through.
E Sargeant & Son is proud to have sponsored the service, which gave grieving families a chance to remember their lost little one and find a supportive community of others going through something similar.
